About the Project
Step‑Up is an integration and employability programme designed for status holders in the Netherlands. We provide personalised coaching, labour‑market training, and community networking to help newcomers thrive socially and economically.
Our mission is simple: to create opportunities, strengthen resilience, and build pathways to meaningful work and social inclusion.
Our Approach
Personal one‑on‑one support from trained mentors who assist participants with navigating Dutch society, developing professional skills, understanding workplace culture, and preparing for job applications and interviews.
Employment Services
We collaborate with employers who are open to hiring newcomers. Our employment support includes job matching, CV and skills profiling, introductions to inclusive employers, and preparation for real work environments.
Tailor‑Made Training
Participants receive training designed to match their unique goals, covering topics such as communication skills, digital literacy, workplace behaviour, and professional development.
Project Objective
The Step‑Up Project strengthens the social and economic integration of status holders by enhancing both current and future employability. Our actions help participants take an active role in society, reduce social isolation, prevent risk of poverty, and build a more secure future, including improved retirement prospects.
This aligns with Dutch and EU policies on the integration of third‑country nationals (TCNs).
Community & Networking
We bring participants into contact with local networks, organisations, and employers. Through community events, peer‑support groups, and professional networking, participants build meaningful relationships that support long‑term integration.
