Mental Health Support for Vulnerable Migrant Communities

Vital Aid Foundation (VAF) supports migrants and vulnerable groups on their path to healing and integration. Many individuals face war trauma, displacement, family separation, discrimination, and social isolation experiences that deeply affect mental well‑being. Our programmes help families rebuild stability, resilience, and hope.

The Challenges migrants /refugees often navigate:

  • War-related trauma and sudden displacement
  • Family separation and ongoing fear for loved ones
  • Domestic and gender‑based vulnerabilities worsened by instability
  • Discrimination and inequality in the host society
  • Language and cultural barriers
  • Loneliness and isolation from community and home
  • Uncertain legal and administrative processes

These experiences deeply affect mental well-being and make culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support essential.
